Sonder Studios NYC — Website Redesign & UX/UI Overhaul (In Progress)

This ongoing project is a full website redesign for Sonder Studios, a recording studio based in New York. The original website was nearly unusable, with almost every click redirecting users to a Google Form — resulting in poor navigation, broken trust, and lost conversions. Recognizing the urgency, I initiated a complete UX/UI overhaul grounded in user research and competitive analysis.

I began the project by conducting a comparative case study of popular recording studios’ websites to identify both best practices and overlooked opportunities. My goal was to ensure that Sonder’s new site wouldn’t just “fit in” but would stand out — offering a seamless and visually engaging experience that meets both industry standards and user expectations.

After sketching low-fidelity wireframes by hand, I translated them into high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, focusing on clarity, usability, and visual rhythm that matches the creative energy of the music industry. From session bookings to artist showcases, every touchpoint is being reimagined to deliver a clean, modern, and fully functional user experience.
